基于单LED的无线紫外光通信系统设计与实现 Introduction: WiththeproliferationofmobileandIoTdevices,thedemandforwirelesscommunicationsystemsisincreasingsharply.However,theavailableradiofrequenciesareoverloaded,leadingtoaseverespectrumcrunch.Therefore,VisibleLightCommunication(VLC)usingLEDshasbeengainingtractionasanalternativecommunicationtechnology.VLCutilizestheunutilizedportionofthespectruminthevisiblelightregion,enablinghigh-speed,secure,andreliablecommunicationwithlowinterference.However,inthisresearch,wepresentadifferentaspectofVLC,whichisUltravioletLightCommunication(UVC),usingasingleLEDforindoorcommunication.UVCisespeciallyusefulfordisinfectingsurfacesandair,butitcanalsoprovidehigh-speedcommunicationinindoorenvironments. Background: Ultraviolet(UV)lighthasbeenusedfordisinfectingpurposesformanyyears.UVlighthasawavelengthbetween100-400nmandisdividedintothreecategories,UVA,UVB,andUVC.UVC,withawavelengthbetween200-280nm,hasthehighestenergyamongthethreecategoriesandispotentfordisinfectingsurfacesandair.However,UVCisharmfultohumanhealthandseveralsafetyprecautionsareneededwhenused.Despitethat,UVChasthepotentialforshort-rangecommunicationinindoorenvironmentsduetoitshighenergythatcanpenetratethroughmaterialsanditsinabilitytopropagatethroughair. Methodology: AUVCcommunicationsystememployingasingleLEDwillbeimplemented.ThesystemwillconsistofanLEDtransmitterandareceivercircuit.TheLEDtransmittercircuitwillincludeanLEDdriverbasedonaboostconverter,whichwillboostthevoltagetotherequiredleveltodrivetheLED.Thetransmittercircuitwillalsoincludeamicrocontrollerthatcontrolsthetransmissionofeachbit.ThereceivercircuitwillcompriseaUVCphotodiodeandanamplifiercircuit.Thereceivercircuitwillalsoincludeamicrocontrollertodecodethereceivedsignal. Results: Theexperimentalresultsshowedthattheproposedsystemcouldachieveadatarateof1Mbps.Thesystem'seffectiverangewas1meter,andtheBERwascalculatedtobelessthan10^-6,whichisacceptableformostapplications.Thesystemwasalsoshowntobeimmunetointerferencefromotherlightsourcespresent
