Introduction: Theemissionsfromvehicleexhausts,particularlythosefrominternalcombustionengines,containavarietyofharmfulgasesandparticulatematterthatposeseriousthreatstohumanhealthandtheenvironment.Therefore,thedevelopmentofefficientandreliablegassensorsforreal-timemonitoringofvehicleexhaustemissionshasbecomepivotalinmitigatingairpollution.Thispaperpresentsaself-poweredgassensorarraybasedonPDMSPpyfrictiongassensorsforachievingaccurateandcontinuousmonitoringofexhaustgasesatroomtemperature. Methods: Theself-poweredgassensorarrayconsistsofmultiplePDMSPpyfrictiongassensors.Thesesensorsoperatebasedontheprincipleofthepyroelectriceffect,wherechangesintemperatureinduceanelectricchargeinthematerial.PDMSPpyisapyroelectricmaterialthatexhibitsahighresponsetogases,makingitsuitableforgassensingapplications.Eachsensorinthearrayistunedtodetectspecificexhaustgasessuchascarbonmonoxide(CO),nitrogenoxides(NOx),andvolatileorganiccompounds(VOCs). Results: Theexperimentalresultsdemonstratetheefficacyoftheproposedself-poweredgassensorarray.Eachsensorinthearrayexhibitshighsensitivityandrapidresponsetoitstargetgas,evenatroomtemperature.Theresponsetimeforeachsensorislessthanafewseconds,allowingforreal-timemonitoringofexhaustgases.Thegassensorarrayalsodemonstratesexcellentselectivity,withminimalinterferencefromothergasescommonlyfoundintheambientair. Discussion: Theself-powerednatureofthegassensorarrayeliminatestheneedforanexternalpowersource,makingithighlypracticalforlong-te
