Detectionofhazardsthatmayexistinabuildingiscrucialintheproperfunctioningofanintelligentbuildingalarmsystem.Currentsensortechnologyallowsfortheaccuratemonitoringofmanybuildingparametersincluding,butnotlimitedto,carbonmonoxide(CO),hydrocarbons,temperature,vibration,etc.Accuratesensorreadingsusingsophisticatedsensortechnologycanminimizetheoccurrenceofcostlyfalsealarms.
