OneoftheapplicationsofsynchrotronradiationX-raydiffractionisinthestudyofelectrodematerialsusedinlithium-ionbatteries.Bysubjectingtheelectrodestodifferentcharginganddischargingcycles,researcherscanobservechangesinthecrystalstructureofthesematerialsanddeterminetheirimpactonthebattery'sperformance.
