Introduction: Titaniumdioxide(TiO2)isaversatilematerialwithremarkableproperties,includinghighthermalstability,excellentphotocatalyticactivity,andgoodchemicalstability.Itiswidelyusedinvariousapplications,suchassolarcells,sensors,andwaterpurification.Thepriceofcommerciallyavailabletitaniumdioxidecanvarysignificantly,makinglow-costalternativeshighlydesirable.However,thecharacterizationoftheselow-costtitaniumoxidescanbechallenging,especiallywhenstandardsamplesarenotreadilyavailable. MaterialsandMethods: Inthisstudy,severallow-costtitaniumoxidesweresynthesizedusingdifferentmethods,includingsol-gelandhydrothermalsynthesis.ThecompositionandcrystalstructureofthesynthesizedoxideswerecharacterizedusingXRD.Todevelopaquantitativeanalysismethodwithoutstandardsamples,aseriesofmixtureswithknownproportionsofthesynthesizedoxideswereprepared.XRDmeasurementswereperformedonthesemixtures,andtheresultingdiffractionpatternswereusedtodevelopanempiricalcalibrationcurve. Results: TheempiricalcalibrationcurveshowedastrongcorrelationbetweentheknownoxideproportionsandtheX-raydiffractionpeakintensities.Thelinearrelationshipbetweenthepeakintensitiesandtheoxidecompositionallowedforthecalculationofphaseproportionsinagivensamplewithouttheneedforstandardsamples.Theaccuracyofthequantitativeanalysiswasevaluatedbycomparingthecalculatedphaseproportionswiththoseobtainedusingstandardsamples.Theresultsshowedgoodagreement,confirmingthereliabilityofthepro
