利用固体核径迹探测器研究豌豆和苜蓿植株中硼的分布 Introduction: Boronplaysanessentialroleinthegrowthanddevelopmentofplants.Itisanessentialnutrientthatisrequiredinsmallamountsandaffectsvariousphysiologicalprocesses.Duetoitslimitedavailabilityinsoil,borondeficiencyisacommonproblemaffectingcropsworldwide,leadingtoreducedgrowth,yield,andqualityoftheproduce.Therefore,tounderstandthedistributionofboroninplants,itisessentialtostudytheborondistributionindifferentplantspecies.Inthisstudy,weusedsolid-statenucleartrackdetectors(SSNTDs)toinvestigatetheborondistributioninpeaandalfalfaplants. Methods: PlantsamplesofpeaandalfalfawerecollectedfromtheexperimentalfieldoftheCollegeofAgriculture,UniversityofScienceandTechnology,namedasFarmA,locatedinthesuburbsofthecity.Theplantsweregrowninnutrient-richsoilandwereharvestedafterreachingmaturity.Theplantsamplesweredriedatroomtemperatureandthencrushedintoafinepowder.Thepowderwasthensealedinapolyethyleneterephthalate(PET)container. TheSSNTDsusedinthestudywereLR-115typeIIdetectorsobtainedfromtheHarwellResearchLaboratories.Theywerecalibratedtomeasuretherangeofalphaparticles.Thedetectorswerethenexposedtothepowderedplantsamplesforaperiodofonemonth.Aftertheexposureperiod,thedetectorswereremovedfromthecontainers,etchedina2.5NNaOHsolutionfor2hours,washedanddried.Thenumberoftracksformedwascountedusingamicroscopewithamagnificationof400x. Results: Themeannumberoftrackspercm²wasdeterminedforbothpeaandalfalfa.Theboronconcentrationwasthencalculatedusingacalibrationcurvethathadbeenpreviouslyestablished.Theresultsshowedthattheboronconcentrationwashigherintherootsofpeaplantsthaninthestemsandleaves.Thehighestconcentrationwasrecordedintheapicalroot,followedbylateralrootsandthenthemainroot.Inalfalfaplants,theboronconcentrationwashigherinthestemsthanintheleaves,andthehighestconcentrationwasrecordedinthelowerstems.
