MicrostructureandComposition 15MnMoVNsteelisalowcarbonsteelcontainingMn,Mo,VandmicroalloyingelementssuchasNbandTi.Themicroalloyingelementsplayanimportantroleinrefiningthegrainsizeandimprovingthestrengthandtoughnessofthesteel.TiandNbcanformcarbidesandnitrides,whichcaneffectivelyrefinethegrainsizeandimprovethestrengthandtoughnessofthesteel.VandMocanformsolidsolutionstrengthening,precipitationstrengtheningandgrainboundarystrengthening.
