ProcessWriting Processwritingisawritingapproachthatfocusesonthewritingprocessratherthanthefinalproduct.Itemphasizestheimportanceofprewritingandediting,aswellasthedraftingstageofwriting.TheprocesswritingapproachhasbeenwidelyusedinEnglishlanguageteachingsincethelate1970s.Processwritingisregardedasanaturalapproachtoteachingwritingbecauseitsupportsthestudents’naturalprogressionthroughthewritingprocess(WhiteandArndt,1991).
