OneofthekeyadvantagesofHMAMisitssuperiordeformationresistance,whichistheabilitytowithstanddeformationunderrepeatedloading.Deformationresistanceisaffectedbymultiplefactors,includingaggregatecharacteristics,asphaltbinderproperties,temperature,andloadingrate.Inaddition,themodulusofHMAM,whichisameasureofitsstiffness,alsoplaysanimportantroleindeterminingitsdeformationresistanceandotherperformancecharacteristics.Therefore,itisessentialtostudythedeformationresistanceandmoduluspredictionofHMAMtooptimizeitsdesignandconstruction.
