Introduction DCelectricarcfurnacesareimportantequipmentusedinthesteelmakingindustryastheyprovideareliableandeffectivemeansofmeltingscrapmetalintohigh-qualitysteel.Accordingtostatistics,thetotaloutputofelectricarcfurnacesteelinChinain2019was98.99milliontons,accountingfor30.2%ofthecountry'stotalcrudesteeloutput.ThebottomelectrodeoftheDCelectricarcfurnaceisthemaincurrent-carryingcomponentandplaysanimportantroleinthesteelmakingprocess.However,thetraditionalgraphiteelectrodehasmanydisadvantages,suchashighcost,lowservicelife,easybreakageandpollution.
