Introduction: Lowpermeabilityandultra-lowpermeabilityreservoirsarecharacterizedbytheirlowflowcapacityandlimitedconnectivitybetweentheporousmedia.Traditionalrecoverymethodssuchasprimaryproductionandsecondaryrecoverytechniquesoftenyieldlowoilrecoveryfactors.Waterflooding,awidelyusedenhancedoilrecovery(EOR)technique,involvesinjectingwaterintothereservoirtodisplacetheremainingoilandimprovetherecoveryfactor.However,theeffectivenessofwaterfloodinginlowpermeabilityandultra-lowpermeabilityreservoirsislimitedduetovariousfactors.Thispaperfocusesonexploringthefactorsthatinfluencetherelativepermeabilityofoilandwaterandtheefficiencyofwaterfloodinginsuchreservoirs.
