Inordertoimprovethedevelopmentefficiencyoflow-permeabilityreservoirswithhighwatercontent,theinterlayerradialboreholemethodhasbeenproposedandwidelyused.Thismethodcangreatlyimprovetheyieldofoilproduction,reducethewatercontentofoilwells,andimprovetheoveralleconomicandenvironmentalbenefitsofoilfielddevelopment.
