两性聚丙烯酰胺絮凝性能的研究 Abstract Theflocculationperformanceofcationicandanionicpolyacrylamidewasstudiedinthispaper.Theflocculationexperimentswereconductedonturbidwatersamplesusingdifferentconcentrationsofpolymersolution.Theflocculationrate,turbidityremovalefficiency,andsettlingtimewereanalyzedtoevaluatetheperformanceofthetwotypesofpolyacrylamide.Theresultsshowedthatcationicpolyacrylamidehadhigherflocculationrateandturbidityremovalefficiencycomparedtoanionicpolyacrylamide.Theoptimalconcentrationofcationicpolyacrylamidewasfoundtobe0.1%whilethatofanionicpolyacrylamidewas0.5%.Inaddition,cationicpolyacrylamidehadashortersettlingtimecomparedtoanionicpolyacrylamide.Overall,cationicpolyacrylamideshowedbetterperformanceasaflocculantinturbidwatertreatment. Introduction Watertreatmentisacriticalprocessthatinvolvestheremovalofimpuritiesandcontaminantsfromwatertomakeitsafeforconsumption.Oneofthecrucialstepsinwatertreatmentisflocculation,whichinvolvestheuseofpolymerstoaggregatesuspendedparticlesinthewaterandformlargerflocsthatcanbeeasilyremovedbysedimentationorfiltration.Polyacrylamideisoneofthemostwidelyusedpolymersinflocculationduetoitsexcellentflocculationperformanceandeaseofuse.Polyacrylamideisawater-solublepolymerthatcanbeclassifiedintocationic,anionic,andnonionictypesdependingonthechargesonthepolymerchain. Inthisstudy,wecomparedtheflocculationperformanceofcationicandanionicpolyacrylamideinthetreatmentofturbidwater.Theflocculationrate,turbidityremovalefficiency,andsettlingtimewereusedastheevaluationcriteriafortheperformanceofthetwotypesofpolyacrylamide. MaterialsandMethods Theexperimentswereconductedusingsyntheticturbidwatersamplespreparedbyaddingbentoniteclaytodistilledwatertoachieveaturbiditylevelof500NTU.Cationicandanionicpolyacrylamidesolutionswerepreparedbydissolvingthepolymersindistilledwateratdifferentconcentrationsrangingfrom0.1%to1%.Theflocculationexperimentswereperformedusingajartestapparatuswithsixbeakers.
