Huffman和S-DES混合加密算法的研究 Abstract Withtheincreasingamountofelectronicdatabeingexchangedeveryday,thesecurityofdatahasbecomeamajorconcern.Encryptionalgorithmshavebecomeanessentialtoolforsecurecommunication,preventingunauthorizedaccesstodata.HuffmanencodingandSimplifiedDataEncryptionStandard(S-DES)aretwowidelyusedencryptiontechniques,bothofwhichofferuniqueadvantages.Thispaperaimstoinvestigatethepotentialbenefitsofcombiningthesetwotechniquestocreateamoresecureandefficientencryptionalgorithm. Introduction Encryptionistheprocessofconvertingplaintextintociphertexttoensurethesecurityandconfidentialityofdata.Thetwomostcommontypesofencryptionalgorithmsaresymmetricandasymmetricencryption.Insymmetricencryption,thesamekeyisusedtoencryptanddecryptthedata,whileinasymmetricencryption,separatekeysareusedforeachoperation.Symmetricencryptionisfasterandmoreefficientthanasymmetricencryption,butitrequiressecurekeyexchangebetweenthesenderandreceiver. Huffmanencodingisalosslesscompressionalgorithmthatusesvariable-lengthcodestorepresentdata.ThetechniqueinvolvesconstructingaHuffmantreebasedonthefrequencyofoccurrenceofeachcharacterintheplaintext.Thetreeisthenusedtogenerateavariable-lengthcodeforeachcharacter,withmorefrequentlyoccurringcharactersassignedshortercodes.Asaresult,theoveralllengthoftheencodedmessageisreduced,whichcanimprovetheefficiencyoftransmissionandstorage. S-DESisasymmetricencryptionalgorithmthatusesa10-bitkeytoencryptanddecrypt8-bitplaintextblocks.Thealgorithmconsistsoftworoundsofpermutation,substitution,andXORoperations.Thefirstroundisknownastheinitialpermutation(IP),whilethesecondroundisknownastheinversepermutation(IP-1).S-DESisasimplifiedversionoftheDataEncryptionStandard(DES),whichwasoriginallydevelopedbyIBMinthe1970sandlateradoptedbytheUSgovernmentasastandardforsecurecommunication.
