Keywords:artificialreef,planktonicorganisms,communitystructure,environmentalfactors 1.Introduction Artificialreefshavebeenwidelyusedworldwidetoincreasefisheryresources,promotebiodiversity,andprovidehabitatsformarineorganisms,includingplanktonicorganisms.Planktonicorganismsareessentialcomponentsofmarineecosystems,servingasthebaseofthefoodchainandprovidingcrucialecosystemservices.However,thecommunitystructureofplanktonicorganismsanditsrelationshipwithenvironmentalfactorsinartificialreefareasarerelativelyunderstudied.ThisstudyaimstofillthisknowledgegapbyinvestigatingthecommunitystructureofplanktonicorganismsintheartificialreefareaofTianjincoastalwatersandexploringitscorrelationwithenvironmentalfactors. 2.Methodology 2.1StudyArea ThestudyareaislocatedinthecoastalwatersofTianjin,China,wheremultipleartificialreefshavebeendeployed. 2.2SamplingandDataCollection Planktonsampleswillbecollectedatdifferentlocationswithinandoutsidetheartificialreefarea.Sampleswillbecollectedusingplanktonnetstowedatdifferentdepthsandpreservedinformaldehyde.Environmentalparameters,includingtemperature,salinity,dissolvedoxygen,nutrientconcentration,andwatercurrents,willbemeasuredconcurrentlywithplanktonsampling. 2.3PlanktonCommunityAnalysis Planktonsampleswillbesortedandidentifiedunderamicroscope.Thecommunitycomposition,diversity,andabundanceofplanktonicorganismswillbedeterminedusingestablishedtaxonomicprotocols.Communityindices,suchasShannon-WienerindexandSimpson'sdiversityindex,willbecalculatedtoevaluatecommunitydiversity.Therelationshipbetweenenv
