Introduction: Thefifth-generation(5G)wirelessnetworksareexpectedtosupportawiderangeofapplications,suchasInternetofThings(IoT),autonomousvehicles,virtualreality,andultra-high-definitionvideostreaming.Tomeetthedemandingrequirementsoftheseapplications,5Gnetworksincorporatepromisingtechnologies,suchasmassiveMIMO,mmWavecommunications,andnetworkdensification.Amongthese,large-scaleMIMOrepresentsakeyenablerforachievingthedesiredperformanceimprovements. Non-stationarityinChannelModeling: Wirelesschannelsin5Gnetworksarehighlydynamicandtime-varying,whichchallengestheaccuracyofchannelmodeling.Thenon-stationarityofthechannelreferstothefactthatthestatisticalpropertiesofthechannelvaryovertime,duetovariousfactorssuchasthemovementofusers,environmentalconditions,andinterference.Modelingthenon-stationarityaccuratelybecomescrucialtocapturechannelcharacteristicsanddesignrobustlarge-scaleMIMOsystems.
