Introduction: Compositelaminatesconsistofmultiplelayersoffiber-reinforcedmaterials,suchascarbonfiberandglassfiber,bondedtogetherwithamatrixmaterial.Thearrangementandstackingsequenceoftheselayersgivethelaminatestheiruniquemechanicalproperties.However,variousfactors,suchasloadingconditions,aging,andmanufacturingdefects,cancausedamagetotheselaminates,includingdelamination,fiberbreakage,andmatrixcracking.Detectingandlocatingsuchdamageaccuratelyisessentialtoensurethesafetyandreliabilityofcompositestructures. LiteratureReview: Severalmethodshavebeenproposedfordamagedetectionincompositelaminates,includingacousticemission,fiberopticsensors,piezoelectricsensors,andultrasonictechniques.However,thesemethodsoftenrequirecomplexinstrumentationandexpensiveequipment,makingthemlesspracticalforroutineinspectionandmaintenance.Inrecentyears,non-contactandnon-destructiveevaluationapproacheshavegainedattention,amongwhichcurvaturemeasurementisapromisingtechnique.
