Keywords:Iran,aculeatewasps,Crabronidae,Sphecidae,Mutillidae,Stephanidae,Ichneumonidae,faunisticanalysis. 1.Introduction ThecountryofIran,withitsvariedclimaticzonesanddiverseecosystems,ishometoarichaculeatewaspfauna.Amongthese,thefamiliesCrabronidae,Sphecidae,Mutillidae,Stephanidae,andIchneumonidaeplayimportantecologicalrolesandareofsignificantinteresttoresearchers.Thisstudyaimstoprovideacomprehensiveassessmentofthespeciesdiversity,distributionpatterns,andecologicalaspectsofthesefamiliesinIran. 2.MaterialsandMethods Thedataforthisfaunisticanalysiswerecollectedfromvariousprimaryandsecondarysources,includingpublishedliterature,museumcollections,andonlinedatabases.FieldsurveyswerealsoconductedindifferentregionsofIrantosupplementtheexistingdata.Specimenswerecollected,identified,andtaxonomicallycategorizedusingstandardmorphologicalkeysandexpertconsultation. 3.ResultsandDiscussion 3.1Crabronidae:Thisfamilyincludessandwasps,whichareimportantpollinatorsandpredatorsofinsects.ThestudyrevealsatotalofXspeciesbelongingtoXgenera.ThedistributionpatternsofCrabronidaespeciesindifferentregionsofIranarediscussed,highlightingtheoccurrenceofrareandendemictaxa. 3.2Sphecidae:Sphecoidwasps,commonlyknownasdiggerwasps,areessentialecosystemserviceprovidersduetotheirpollina
