Introduction: Potassiumsulfateiscommonlyusedasapotassiumfertilizerinagriculture.Itprovidesessentialnutrientstoplantsforbettergrowthandfruiting.Ontheotherhand,ammoniumchloridefindsapplicationsinthepharmaceutical,food,andchemicalindustries.Currently,theprimarysourcesofpotassiumsulfateandammoniumchloridearethroughminingortheextractionofthesecompoundsfromnaturalsources.However,thesemethodshavelimitations,includinghighcosts,environmentalconcerns,andlimitedavailability.Therefore,thereisagrowinginterestindevelopingalternativeprocessesthatcanproducethesecompoundsmoreefficientlyandsustainably. ExperimentalMethodology: ThesynthesisofK2SO4andNH4Clfrom(NH4)2SO4andKClinvolvesadoublereplacementreaction.Inthisresearch,aseriesofexperimentswereconductedtooptimizethereactionconditions,includingreactantcomposition,reactiontemperature,andreactiontime.Thekeyparameters,suchasthereactionrate,productyield,andpurity,wereanalyzedandcomparedtotraditionalproductionmethods. ResultsandDiscussion: Theexperimentalresultsdemonstratedthatthedoublereplacementreactionbetween(NH4)2SO4andKClyieldsK2SO4andNH4Cl.TheoptimalmolarratioformaximumK2SO4andNH4Clproductionwasfoundtobe1:1.2(NH4)2SO4:KCl.Atthisratio,thereactiontemperatureof80°Candareactiontimeof3hours,thehighestyieldofbothproductswasachieved.Additionally,thepurityoftheobtainedK2SO4andNH4Clexceeded98%and99%respectively. Thereactionmechanisminvolvestheexchangeofionsbetween(NH4)2SO4andKCl,leadingtotheformationofK2SO4andNH4Clasproducts.Thepresenceof
