Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatethedynamicdispersioncharacteristicsofpointsurfacecompoundinfraredattractantsintheairandexploretheirpotentialapplications.Asimulationmodelwasdevelopedtosimulatethedispersionprocessandanalyzethefactorsaffectingthedispersionpattern.Theresultsofthesimulationwerevalidatedthroughfieldexperiments. Thesimulationresultsrevealedthatthedispersionpatternoftheattractantsisinfluencedbyvariousfactors,includingwindspeed,temperature,humidity,andthereleaseheight.Higherwindspeedsandlowertemperaturesresultedinfasterandwiderdispersion.Theattractantswerefoundtodisperseinanon-uniformmannerduetovariationsinenvironmentalconditionsandthedensityoftheattractantparticles. Basedonthesimulationandexperimentalresults,severalutilizationstrategiesforpointsurfacecompoundinfraredattractantswereproposed.First,theattractantscanbeusedtomonitorandtrappestsinatargetedmanner.Bystrategicallyplacingattractantdispensersinspecificareas,thepopulationofpestscanbesignificantlyreduced.Second,theattractantscanbecombinedwithtrapsornetstoenhancetheirtrappingefficiency.Third,theattractantscanbeintegratedintoaerialdispersalsystemstocoverlargeareasandachievewidespreadpestcontrol. Furthermore,theeconomicandenvironmentalbenefitsofpointsurfacecompoundinfraredattractantswereanalyzed.Comparedtotraditionalchemicalpesticides,theattractantsprovideamoreenvironmentallyfriendlyandsustainablepestcontrolsolution.Theycanreducetheuseofhazardouschemicals,minimizetheriskofresistancedevelo
