Introduction: Colddrawingisacrucialprocessinthemanufacturingofsteelroundbars,whichinvolvesreducingthediameterandincreasingthelengthofthebarsthroughaseriesofdiesandmandrels.Thisprocessimprovesthesteel'smechanicalproperties,suchashardnessandtensilestrength,whileimpartingasmoothandpolishedsurfacefinish.However,colddrawingcaninducecrackinginthesteelbars,affectingtheirstructuralintegrityandperformance.Understandingthecausesandmechanismsofcrackingisimperativetodevelopeffectivesolutionsforqualityenhancement.
