改性凹凸棒石及硅灰石填充PTFE的摩擦性能研究 Title:ResearchonImprovingtheFrictionPerformanceofPTFEbyModifyingwithAttapulgiteandSilicaFillers Abstract: Polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)isacommonlyusedpolymerinvariousindustrialapplicationsduetoitsexcellentchemicalresistanceandlowfrictioncoefficient.However,theinherentlowwearresistanceandpoorthermalstabilityofPTFElimititspracticalapplicationincertainareas.Inthisresearch,attapulgiteandsilicafillerswereintroducedtomodifythePTFEtoenhanceitsfrictionperformance.TheeffectofthemodifiedPTFEonthefrictioncoefficient,wearresistance,andthermalstabilitywereinvestigated.TheresultsshowedthattheincorporationofattapulgiteandsilicafillerssignificantlyimprovedthefrictionperformanceofPTFE. 1.Introduction: Polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)isafluoropolymerwithexcellentchemicalinertnessandlowfrictionproperties,whichmakesitwidelyusedinvariousindustries.However,itslowwearresistanceandpoorthermalstabilitylimititspracticalapplicationsindemandingenvironments.Toaddresstheseissues,fillersarecommonlyaddedtoenhancePTFE'smechanicalproperties.ThisstudyfocusesontheuseofattapulgiteandsilicafillerstomodifythePTFEandimproveitsfrictionperformance. 2.MaterialsandMethods: 2.1PTFEPreparation:CommerciallyavailablePTFEresinwasusedasthebasematerial.AttapulgiteandsilicafillerswereaddedintothePTFEresinusingameltblendingmethod.TheblendwasthencompressedintosheetsandsinteredtoobtainmodifiedPTFEsamples. 2.2Characterization:ThemodifiedPTFEsampleswerecharacterizedusingvarioustechniques.Thefrictioncoefficientwasmeasuredusingatribometerunderdifferentoperatingconditions.Thewearresistancewasevaluatedthroughapin-on-disctest.Thethermalstabilitywasanalyzedusingthermogravimetricanalysis(TGA)anddifferentialscanningcalorimetry(DSC). 3.ResultsandDiscussion: 3.1FrictionPerformance:TheresultsshowedthattheincorporationofattapulgiteandsilicafillerssignificantlyreducedthefrictioncoefficientofthemodifiedPTFE.Thisimprovementcanbeattributedtotheenhancedload-bearingcapacityandreducedinterfacialadhesionbetweenthePTFEmat
