DesignoftheHydraulicSystem Thehydraulicsystemusedinboardingdoorscomprisesvariouscomponentsthatworktogethertoensurethesmoothoperationofthedoor.Thesecomponentsincludetheactuator,hydraulicpump,hydrauliccylinder,andvalves.Inthisdesign,thehydraulicpumpisresponsibleforsupplyingthehydraulicfluidtothehydrauliccylinder.Thecylinderthenconvertsthehydraulicenergyintomechanicalenergytooperatethedoor. Theactuatorisresponsiblefordrivingthepistonduringtheopeningorclosingofthedoor.Theactuatorismadeofahydraulicmotor,whichisusedtodrivethepump,andapiston,whichmovesthedoor.Thehydrauliccylinderisconnectedtothepiston,anditmovesthedoorbyreciprocatingmotion.
