Introduction Entrepreneurshiphasalwaysbeenahottopicinmanagementresearch.Withtheincreasingdemandforinnovationanddevelopmentinmodernsociety,entrepreneurshiphasbeenseenasthedrivingforcebehindeconomicgrowth.Withthesurgeofentrepreneurship,ithasbecomemoreandmorerecognizedthatentrepreneurs'skillsandknowledgearekeyelementsinthesuccessofabusiness.However,thesocialresourcesandrelationshipsthatentrepreneurshaveaccesstoarealsocritical.Thus,itisimportanttoinvestigatetheinterdependentrelationshipbetweenknowledgestocks,socialcapital,andentrepreneurialperformance. TheConceptofKnowledgeStocks Knowledgeisavaluableassetforentrepreneurs.Knowledgestocksrefertothebodyofknowledgethatentrepreneurspossessatanygiventime.Thevarioustypesofknowledgethatentrepreneurshaveaccumulatedcanbedividedintotwocategories:explicitknowledgeandtacitknowledge.Explicitknowledgereferstotheknowledgethatiseasytoarticulateorcodify,suchasmarketresearchreports,accountingrecords,andpatents.Tacitknowledge,ontheotherhand,referstotheknowledgethatisdifficulttoarticulateorcodify,suchasskills,experience,values,andknowledgeofsocialconnections.
