MainBody: Themaindrivesystemofthecoldrollingmilliscomposedofseveralcomponentsconsistingofmotors,gearboxes,couplings,bearings,androlls.Thetorqueoscillationfromthemotorcausesatwistinthegearboxandthemillrolls,whichcanleadtotwistingvibrationsforthewholesystem.Thetwistingvibrationscanhaveasignificantimpactontheoverallproductionprocessandcancausefatiguedamagetothemachine'scomponents. Toanalyzethetwistingvibrations,itisessentialtodeterminethecriticaltorsionalfrequenciesofthesystem.Inthisprocess,thenaturalfrequenciesofthesystemneedtobeanalyzed,asthenaturalfrequenciesaretheresonantfrequenciesofthesystematwhichtorsionaloscillationswillbeamplified.Theanalyticalstudyofthesystem'storsionalvibrationstakesintoaccountthestiffnessanddampingofthesystem'scomponents,includingthegears,rotor,andsupportstructure. Thefiniteelementanalysis(FEA)methodwasusedtosimulateandstudythetwistingvibrationsinthemaindrivesystem.Inthissimulation,themaindrivesystem'smodelingwascreatedusingSOLIDWORKSsoftware,andthemodalanalysiswasperformedusingANSYSsoftware.Thestudyconsidereddifferentfactorssuchasthenaturalfrequenciesofthecomponents,themodeshapes,thedynamicresponseofthewholesystem,andtorqueresponse.
