HAZOPMethod: HAZOPisasystematicandstructuredtechniqueusedtoidentify,assess,andcontrolhazardsandpotentialrisksduringthedesignandoperationofcomplexsystems.Itinvolvesamultidisciplinaryteamthatanalyzestheprocessusingprocessandinstrumentationdiagrams(P&IDs)toidentifydeviationsfromintendedoperationsthatmayleadtohazards.Theteamproceedstoevaluatetheconsequences,causes,andsafeguardsassociatedwitheachidentifiedhazard.Throughbrainstormingsessions,recommendationsaregeneratedtomitigateoreliminatetheidentifiedrisks.
