Keywords:vacuumgrouting,finesandstratum,stability,load-bearingcapacity,geotechnicalengineering. 1.Introduction Finesandstratumiscommonlyencounteredingeotechnicalengineeringprojects,especiallyincoastalareas.However,thistypeofsoiloftenexhibitslowstabilityandinadequateload-bearingcapacity.Variousconventionalsoilimprovementtechniques,suchascompaction,soilreinforcement,andcementgrouting,havebeenusedtoimprovethepropertiesoffinesandstratum.Nevertheless,thesemethodshavelimitationsandmaynotachievethedesiredresults.Vacuumgroutinghasemergedasapromisingalternativetechniqueforsoilimprovement.Thispaperaimstoinvestigatethefeasibilityandeffectivenessofvacuumgroutingsimulationinfinesandstratum. 2.ExperimentalSetup Theexperimentalsetupconsistsofacylindricalacrylicchamber,avacuumpump,andagroutinjectionsystem.Thechamberisequippedwithpressuresensorsanddisplacementtransducerstomonitorchangesinporewaterpressureandsoildeformation,respectively.Finesandsampleswithknowncharacteristicsarepreparedandplacedinsidethechamber.Thevacuumpumpisconnectedtothechambertocreateanegativepressureenvironment. 3.ExperimentalProcedure Thefinesandsamplesaresubjectedtoaseriesoftestsunderdifferentvacuumpressurelevels.Thesuctionpressureisgraduallyincreased,andthechangesinporewaterpressure,soildeformation,andload-bearingcapacityarerecorded.Forcomparison,controltestsarealsoperformedonuntreatedfinesandsamples. 4.ResultsandDiscussion Theexperime
