Introduction: Riceisknowntohaveahigherabilitytoaccumulateandtranslocateheavymetals,includingCd,fromsoiltograinscomparedtoothercrops.Cd,ahighlytoxicheavymetal,canhaveseverehealthimpactsonhumanswhenconsumedthroughcontaminatedrice.Therefore,itiscrucialtocomprehendthevariationsinCdaccumulationamongdifferentricevarietiesandidentifythemechanismsthatdrivethesedifferences.
