ImpactofClimateChangeonRunoff ClimatechangeisasignificantfactorthataffectstherunoffoftheHuaiRiverBasin.Inrecentyears,thetemperatureandprecipitationintheupperandmiddlereachesoftheHuaiRiverBasinhaveincreasedsignificantly.Therisingtemperaturehasledtothemeltingofglaciers,causinganincreaseintheflowofrivers.Atthesametime,increasingrainfallhasledtoanincreaseinthesurfacerunoffofthebasin.However,duetoglobalwarming,thefrequencyofextremeweathereventssuchasdrought,floods,andstormshasalsoincreased,whichhashadaconsiderableimpactontherunoffintheHuaiRiverBasin.
