状语从句
在复合句中修饰主句中的动词、形容词或副词，
起状语作用的从句叫状语从句。状语从句可置主语之前，也可置主语之后。前置时，从句后用逗号与主句分开；后置时，与主句之间无标点符号。命题主要集中在引导状语从句的连词、状语从句的时态等方面；从九大状语从句来看，应将复习重点放在时间状语从句、条件状语从句、目的状语从句、结果状语从句和比较状语从句上。

1.时间状语从句

引导时间状语从句的连词有：
while,when,as,assoonas,till,until,not…until,before,after,since,etc．
1）when，while，as
①when可表动作同时发生或先后发生，从句动词延续非延续都行。
如：Whenhefinishedthework,hehadalittlerest．
while表动作同时发生，从句动词必须可延续。
如：Pleasekeepquietwhileshewassleeping．
as表动作同时发生；从句动词延续非延续都行，常指一边…一边，as还可以说明两种正发展或变化的情况，有“随着”的意思，表时间的推移。
如:Hesangashewentalong．
AsIgetolder,Ihavemoreconfidence.
2)before,after
before“在……之前”。
after“在……之后”。如：
Theyhadalreadyhadbreakfastbeforetheywenttoschool.

C．assoonas注意:时间状语从句的时态
1）主将，从现（when,before,after,until,assoonas引导从句时）：

2)主情，从现：

3)主祈，从现：
Pleasedon’tgotobedbeforeyoufinishyourhomework.4)主句为一般现在时，从句也用现在范畴的时态：

5）主句为一般过去时，从句也用过去范畴的时态：
IlikedreadingwhenIwasyoung.
