ThispaperexplorestheresearchstatusofmedicaldataminingbasedonHadoopplatforminthebigdataenvironment.Firstly,thebasicconceptsofbigdata,medicaldatamining,andHadoopareintroduced.Secondly,thispaperanalyzesthenecessityandfeasibilityofmedicaldataminingbasedonHadoopplatformanddiscussestheadvantagesofHadoopinmedicaldatamanagementandmining. Inrecentyears,variousmedicaldataminingalgorithmshavebeenproposed,includingclassification,clustering,associationmining,prediction,andrecommendationalgorithms.Becauseofitsdistributed,parallel,andfault-tolerantfeatures,Hadoopisconsideredtobeverysuitableforimplementingthesealgorithms. Moreover,Hadoopplatform-basedmedicaldataminingcanhelpmedicalresearchersdetectandpredictdiseases,improveclinicalandmedicaldecision-making,andprovidepersonalizeddiagnosisandtreatment.ThispaperdiscussessomerepresentativeapplicationsofHadoopinmedicaldatamining,suchasdrugdiscovery,diseasediagnosis,andpatientmanagement. However,therearesomechallengesintheapplicationofHadoopplatforminmedicaldatamining,suchasdataprivacy,dataquality,computationefficiency,andalgorithmoptimization.Therefore,thispaperraisessomesolutionstothesechallenges,suchasdataencryptionandanonymization,datacleaningandpreprocessing,optimizingHadoopplatformperformance,anddesigningefficientmedicaldataminingalgorithms. Finally,thispaperconcludesthatmedicaldataminingbasedonHadoopplatformisapromisingandvaluableresearchfield.Hadoopcaneffectivelyimprovethemanagement
