Keywords:WPDM,PAPRreduction,jointalgorithm,spectralefficiency,energyefficiency 1.Introduction WirelessPowerDivisionMultiplexing(WPDM)isaninnovativetechnologythatenablessimultaneouswirelesspowertransferanddatacommunication.WPDMofferspromisingbenefitsintermsofenergyandspectralefficiency,makingitsuitableforvariousapplications,includingInternetofThings(IoT),smartgrids,andwirelesssensornetworks.However,WPDMfacesseveraltechnicalchallenges,oneofwhichisthehighPAPR. 2.PAPRinWPDM ThenatureofWPDMsignalsresultsinahighPAPR,whichoccursduetothesuperpositionofpowersignalsforenergytransferandinformationsignalsfordatacommunication.HighPAPRcanleadtodistortionandnon-linearitiesinthepoweramplifiers,reducingtheoverallsystemperformance.Therefore,reducingPAPRisvitalforachievingreliableandefficientWPDMsystems. 3.PAPRReductionTechniques SeveralPAPRreductiontechniqueshavebeenproposedforsinglecarriermodulationschemes,suchasamplitudeclippingandfiltering,selectedmapping,tonereservation,andpartialtransmitsequence.However,thesemethodsmaynotbedirectlyapplicabletoWPDMduetotheuniquecharacteristicsofcombinedpoweranddatasignals.Therefore,ajointalgorithmthattakesintoaccountbothaspectsisnecessary. 4.ProposedJointAlgorithmforPAPRReduction Inthissection,wepresentanoveljointalgorithmforPAPRreductioninWPDMsystems.Thealgorithmcombinesselectedmapping(SLM)andpartialtransmitsequence(P
