Introduction: Hollowfiberfiltermediaarecomprisedofmillionsofinterconnectedhollowfibersthatserveasabarriertoseparatesolidparticlesandcontaminantsfromafluid.Thesematerialsofferseveraladvantages,includingalargesurfacearea-to-volumeratio,highporosity,andtheabilitytowithstandharshoperatingconditions.However,theirperformanceisinfluencedbyvariousfactorssuchasfiberdiameter,wallthickness,materialcomposition,andoperatingconditions.
