Methods: ToinvestigatethecultivationofculturalawarenessinhighschoolEnglisheducation,amixed-methodsapproachwasused.First,aquestionnairewasdistributedtoEnglishteachersinvarioushighschools,seekingtheirinsightsontheirteachingmethodsandmaterialsusedforculturalawareness.Additionally,classroomobservationswereconductedtogatherfirsthandinformationontheactualpracticesemployedbyteachers.Finally,interviewswereconductedwithaselectgroupofstudents,allowingforadeeperunderstandingoftheirperspectivesandexperienceswithculturalawarenessinEnglishlessons. Findings: 1.IntegrationofCultureinLessonContent: MostteachersacknowledgedtheimportanceofintegratingculturaltopicsintoEnglishlessons.Theypresentedculturalelementsthroughavarietyofmaterials,includingliterature,movies,music,andonlineresources.Thisapproachhelpedbuildstudents'culturalknowledgeandunderstandingwhileimprovingtheirlanguageskills. 2.UseofAuthenticMaterials: Teachersshowedapreferenceforusingauthenticmaterials,suchasnewspapers,magazines,andwebsites,toexposestudentstoreal-lifelanguageandculturalaspects.Authenticmaterialsallowedstudentstointeractwithgenuinelanguageuseandgaininsightintoculturalnuances. 3.Cross-CulturalComparisons: Teachersfrequentlyadoptedacomparativeapproachbycontrastingtheirstudents'culturewiththatofEnglish-speakingcountries.Thisapproachencouragedstudentstoreflectontheirownculturalnormsandvalueswhilebroadeningtheirunderstand
