Currentstatusofthetwoterminals The7thand8thberthterminalsofTianjinPortwerebuiltinthe1970sandhavebeeninuseforover40years.Thetwoterminalsaremainlyusedforloadingandunloadingofships,storageofgoods,anddistributionofcommodities.Theterminalsarecurrentlyequippedwithtraditionalcraneequipmentandhavealimitedcapacityforhandlinglargevessels.Theload-bearingcapacityofthequaystructurehasalsobeenweakenedduetoyearsofwearandtear,andtheriskofaccidentshasincreased.
