Keywords:GannanTibetanareas;Traditionalvillages;Protection;HongbaoziVillage Introduction GannanTibetanareasarelocatedinthewesternpartofGansuProvince,whichisthetransitionalzonebetweentheeasternandwesternregionsofChina,andplaysanimportantroleinthespreadofChineseculture.Theuniquegeographicalandculturalenvironmenthascreatedarichanddiversetraditionalvillagecultureinthisarea.Withthedevelopmentoftourismandtherapidurbanizationprocess,theprotectionandinheritanceofthesetraditionalvillageshavebecomeincreasinglyurgentandimportant. HongbaoziVillage,locatedinLintanCounty,GannanTibetanareas,isatypicaltraditionalvillagewithdistinctiveregionalcharacteristics.However,withtheincreasingpopulationandthechangesinthewayoflife,thevillagehasgraduallyencounteredsomechallengesintermsoftraditionalculturalprotectionandinheritance.Therefore,itisnecessarytostudytheprotectionoftraditionalvillages,especiallyHongbaoziVillage. CulturalandHistoricalBackgroundofHongbaoziVillage HongbaoziVillageislocatedinthenorthwestofLintanCounty,GannanTibetanareas,withahistoryofmorethan200years.ThevillagehasauniquegeographicalenvironmentfeaturedbytheGannangrasslands,thehillsideterraces,andtheirrigationcanals.Thevillagehasatotalareaof1.17squarekilometersandisdividedintothreeadministrativevillagesand16naturalvillages.Thevillagehasarelativelycompletesystemofvillagerulesandregulations,andinheritedtraditionalcustomsandfolkarts.
