PrincipleofInclined-PlaneLensFiberOptics Theinclined-planelensfiberoptics(IPLFO)isakindofopticalpathbendingdevice,whichcantransferthelightbeambetweentwofiberswithacertainangledeviation.Theangledeviationisintroducedbyatiltedflatsurface,whichformsaninclinedplanethatintersectswiththefibers'axes.TheIPLFOisbasedontheprincipleofrefractionandreflectionoflight.WhenalightbeamenterstheIPLFO,itisrefractedandreflectedattheinclinedplane,resultinginachangeinthebeamdirectionandashiftinthebeam'sfocus.Byadjustingtheinclinationangleoftheflatsurface,thedeviationangleandthefocallengthoftheIPLFOcanbeoptimizedtoachievemaximumlighttransmissionefficiencyanddesirableopticalpathlength.
