Introduction: Phosphorusisanessentialmacronutrientrequiredforplantgrowth,development,andseveralphysiologicalprocesses,includingenergytransfer,photosynthesis,andcelldivision.Maize(ZeamaysL.)isaphosphorus-sensitivecrop,withahighdemandforphosphorusthroughoutitslifecycle.Insufficientphosphorusavailabilityinthesoilcanlimitmaizegrowthandultimatelydecreasecropyields.Adequatephosphorusapplicationis,therefore,crucialtoensureoptimalplantgrowthanddevelopment.
