commonforpeopletotravelfromthesouthmostparttothenorthmostpartofthecitytogotoworkeveryday.Theyhavetospendthreehoursormoreonthewaytheygotoworkandcomehome.Eighthours’workisaheavyburden,whilepeoplehavetospendhoursbeforeandafterthework.Asubwayrunningthroughoraroundthecitycan
solvetheproblem.Peoplecouldlivefurtherawayfromthedowntownwithoutworryingaboutspendingtoomuchtimeontheway.
Somepeoplebuytheirowncarortakeataxitowork
everyday.It’sreallyexpensiveformostofthepeopleinthecity.Theycan’taffordpayingsomuchontrafficfares.Manycivilengineeringexpertsadvocatethatsharingapublictrafficsystemisthemostefficientway.Peoplecouldreducetheirfaresalotbyusingthepublictrafficsystem,andtheycanspendthemoneyonsomeotherthings.
Eventherearemoreandmorepeoplewhocanaffordbuyingacarortakingtaxieveryday,Itisstill
suggestedtousingthepublictrafficsystem.Becausetheroaddevelopementcanneverkeepupwiththedemandoftheincreasingcars,thecarsmayjamontheroadsduringrushhours.Usually,thespeedofthecarinthattimeisnohigherthanabycicle!Andpollutionisanotherconcern.Somanyprivatecarsrunninginthecitywillbringusanenvironmentalproblem.Ontheotherhand,thepollutionfromthepublictrafficsystemismuchlighter.Allinall,anadvancedpublictrafficsystemtimeefficient,costefficient,andpollutionpreventing.Thisisthetrendofadvancedcities。
