基于0.13μmCMOS工艺2GHz高速并行结构DDFS的设计 1.Introduction Inrecentyears,digitalsignalprocessing(DSP)hasbecomeanessentialcomponentofmanymodernelectronicsystems,suchaswirelesscommunicationsystems,digitalradios,andaudioandvideoprocessingsystems.Directdigitalfrequencysynthesis(DDFS)isawidelyusedtechniqueinDSPthatgeneratesanoutputsignalwithaspecifiedfrequencyusingdigitalsignalprocessingtechniques.Inthispaper,wepresentthedesignofahigh-speedparallelstructureDDFSbasedonthe0.13μmCMOSprocesstechnologyandoperatingatafrequencyof2GHz. 2.DesignMethodology 2.1SystemArchitecture TheproposedDDFSsystemarchitectureisbasedonaparallelstructurethatusesmultipleprocessingunitstogeneratetherequiredoutputsignal.Thesystemiscomprisedofseveralcomponents,includingthefrequencycontrolcircuit,phaseaccumulator,look-uptable,waveformgenerator,anddigital-to-analogconverter(DAC).Inthisarchitecture,theinputfrequencyisappliedtothefrequencycontrolcircuit,whichgeneratesasetofcontrolsignalsthatareusedtosynchronizethevariouscomponentsofthesystem.Thephaseaccumulatorupdatesthephaseinformationoftheoutputwaveform,whichisstoredinthelook-uptable.Finally,thewaveformgeneratorcombinestheoutputfromthelook-uptablewiththecontrolsignalstogeneratethefinaloutputwaveform,whichisfedtotheDACforconversiontoananalogsignal. 2.2PhaseAccumulator ThephaseaccumulatorisakeycomponentoftheDDFSsystem,responsibleforgeneratingthephaseinformationfortheoutputsignal.Thephaseaccumulatoroperatesinamodulo-2πfashion,wherethephaseinformationwrapsaroundoncethemaximumvalueisreached.Toachievehigh-speedoperation,weusea32-bitaccumulatoranda28-bitphaseincrementvalue,whichgivesusaresolutionofapproximately1.4Hz.Thephaseaccumulatorisimplementedusingalinearfeedbackshiftregister(LFSR)toreducetheareaandpowerconsumption. 2.3Look-upTable Thelook-uptableisusedtostoretheprecomputedsamplesoftheoutputwaveformfordifferentphasevalues.Thesizeofthelook-uptabledependsonthebitresolutionoftheoutputwaveformandistypicallyimplementedusingstaticrandom-accessmemory(SRAM).Thelook-uptablei
