功能对等理论下《功夫熊猫》系列字幕汉译

摘要

作为大众媒体重要的一部分，电影肩负着促进文化交流的责任。看外国电影不仅是人们学习外语的好方法，更有助于人们在某种程度上了解外国文化。字幕翻译是跨语言交流的桥梁，探究怎样使字幕翻译在某些理论的指导下让中国观众更好的欣赏外国电影具有重要意义。
面对中国国内字幕翻译现存的问题，本论文以奈达的功能对等理论为基础分析了《功夫熊猫》系列电影的字幕翻译。奈达的功能对等理论被视为字幕翻译有价值的理论指导，能更好地促进世界范围内的跨文化交流。
本论文探讨了《功夫熊猫》系列电影字幕翻译在语义、风格和文化上所体现的对等，力图证明在功能对等理论的指导下电影字幕翻译会取得良性的发展，同时会有更多出色的字幕翻译满足观众的需要，从而加速跨文化交际的发展。

Abstract

Astheessentialpartofmassmedia,filmshoulderstheresponsibilityofpromotingculturecommunication.Watchingforeignfilmsisagoodwayforpeoplenotonlytolearnforeignlanguagebutalsotograsptheforeignculturetosomedegree.Subtitletranslationisthebridgeforinter-lingualcommunication.HowtomakethetranslationofforeignfilmsundersomecertaintheoriesandenabletheChineseaudiencetoappreciateforeignfilmsisofgreatsignificance.
FacingtheproblemsofcurrentsubtitletranslationinChina,thisthesisanalyzesthesubtitletranslationofKungFuPandaseriesonthebasisofNida’sFunctionalEquivalenceTheorywhichcreatesanewperspectivefortranslation.Nida’sFunctionalEquivalenceTheoryisviewedasanattainableguidingtheoryforsubtitletranslation.Itcanbetterpromotethecross-culturalcommunicationallaroundtheworld.
Thisthesisanalyzestheequivalenceontheaspectofsemantics,styleandculturethathasachievedinthesubtitletranslationofKungFuPandaseries.ItaimstoprovethatwiththeguidanceofFunctionalEquivalenceTheory,subtitletranslationwillbedevelopedinavirtuouscycle,andinthemeantime,therewillbemoreexcellentsubtitletranslationtosatisfytheneedofaudiences.Onlyinthisway,canthecross-culturalcommunicationbeproceeded
