Introduction: StaphylococcusaureusisaGram-positivebacteriumthatiscommonlyfoundontheskinandmucousmembranes.Itisamajorpathogenthatcancauseskininfections,pneumonia,sepsis,foodpoisoningandotherinfectiousdiseases.Inrecentyears,theincidenceofStaphylococcusaureusinfectionshasbeenincreasingyearbyyear,andthemortalityrateofpatientswithsevereinfectionsisalsoincreasingduetotheemergenceofdrug-resistantstrains.Therefore,itisofgreatsignificancetodeveloparapidandaccuratemethodforthedetectionofStaphylococcusaureus. Theloop-mediatedisothermalamplification(LAMP)methodisarapidandefficientnucleicacidamplificationmethodthatcanamplifytargetDNAataconstanttemperature.However,theconventionalLAMPmethodhassomelimitations,suchashighcost,lowspecificity,anddifficultyinvisualdetectionofamplificationproducts.Inrecentyears,manymodifiedLAMPmethodshavebeendevelopedtoovercometheseshortcomings. Circularizedmolecularbeacon(cMB)isakindofmolecularbeaconthathasbeencircularizedbynucleicacidligation.Unlikelinearmolecularbeacons,cMBscanformaclosed-loopstructure,whichcaneffectivelyreducetheinterferenceofnon-specificDNAamplification.Inaddition,cMBscanbindtotargetDNAwithhighspecificityandsensitivity.Therefore,cMBshavebeenwidelyusedinvariousnucleicaciddetectionmethods.
