I.PlatformOverview: TheWebGISCarbonForestryInformationServicePlatformisdesignedtoprovideuserswithaccesstocomprehensiveforestry-relatedinformation,includingforestcarbonstocks,foresttypes,landusepatterns,andmore.Itleveragesgeographicinformationsystem(GIS)technologytovisualizedataonamapinterface,allowinguserstointeractwiththeinformationspatially. II.DesignConsiderations: 1.UserInterface: Theplatform'suserinterfaceisdesignedtobeintuitive,user-friendly,andvisuallyappealing.Itemphasizesmap-basedinteractionsandprovideseasy-to-usetoolsfordataexploration,query,andanalysis. 2.DataIntegration: Toprovidecomprehensiveinformation,datafrommultiplesourcesareintegratedintotheplatform.Thisincludessatelliteimagery,remotesensingdata,forestinventorydatabases,andclimatedata.AdataprocessingmoduleisimplementedtoprocessandtransformrawdataintoacompatibleformatfortheGISsystem. 3.SpatialAnalysis: Theplatformoffersvariousspatialanalysisfunctionalities,suchascalculatingforestcarbondensity,estimatingcarbonsequestrationpotential,andidentifyingareassuitableforafforestationorreforestation.Theseanalysesarebasedonmathematicalmodelsandalgorithmsspecificallydevelopedfortheplatform.
