Introduction: Intoday'stechnologicallyadvancedera,theintegrationoftechnologyineducationhasbecomeinevitable.Amongvarioustechnologicaltools,micro-lessonshaveemergedasapromisingresourceforlanguageeducation.Withtheirconciseformatandeasyaccessibility,micro-lessonshaverevolutionizedthewaylanguagesaretaughtandlearned.ThispaperexplorestheteachingmodelofcollegeEnglishbasedonmicro-lessons,aimingtoshedlightonthebenefitsandchallengesassociatedwiththisapproach. AdvantagesofMicro-LessonsinLanguageEducation: 1.Flexibility:Micro-lessonscanbeaccessedanytimeandanywhere,allowingstudentstolearnattheirownpaceandconvenience.Thisflexibilityisparticularlybeneficialforstudentswithbusyschedulesorthosewhopreferstudyingindependently. 2.Visualandauditoryengagement:Micro-lessonsincorporatemultimediaelements,suchasvideos,audioclips,andinteractivequizzes,makingthelearningprocessmoreengagingandstimulatingforstudents.Thecombinationofvisualandauditorystimulienhancesstudents'comprehensionandretentionofthematerials. 3.Bite-sizedlearning:Micro-lessonsaredesignedtobeshort,concise,andfocusedonspecifictopicsorskills.Thisformathelpsstudentsgraspnewinformationquicklyandefficiently,preventingcognitiveoverloadandpromotingeffectivelearning. 4.Personalizedlearning:Micro-lessonscanbetailoredtomeetindividualstudents'needsandlearningstyles.
