[Keywords] MinjiangRiver,upstreamarea,ecologicalenvironment,vulnerability,protection [Introduction] TheupstreamareaoftheMinjiangRiverislocatedinthewesternpartofSichuanProvince,withatotalareaofabout20,000squarekilometers.ItisanimportantecologicalareainChina,withrichbiodiversityandimportantecologicalfunctions.However,withtheincreaseofhumanactivitiesinrecentyears,theecologicalenvironmentinthisareaisfacingseverechallenges.Themainproblemsaresoilerosion,deforestation,andwaterpollution.InordertoprotectandrestoretheecologicalenvironmentoftheupstreamareaoftheMinjiangRiver,itisnecessarytoanalyzethechangesinecologicalvulnerabilityandproposeeffectivemeasures. [Body] 1.ChangesinEcologicalVulnerability Ecologicalvulnerabilityreferstotheabilityofanecosystemtowithstandexternaldisturbancesandmaintainastablestate.WiththeincreaseofhumanactivitiesintheupstreamareaoftheMinjiangRiver,theecologicalvulnerabilityofthisareahasbeencontinuouslychanging.Specifically,therearethefollowingchanges: 1.1.SoilErosion SoilerosionisoneofthemainecologicalproblemsintheupstreamareaoftheMinjiangRiver.Duetodeforestation,overgrazing,andotherhumanactivities,theforestcoveragerateinthisareahasdecreasedsignificantly,andthesoilerosionratehasincreased.Thesoilerosionnotonlyreducesthesoilfertilitybutalsoleadstothelossofwaterandsoilresources,whichseriouslyaffectsthesustainabledevelopmentofthelocalecologicalenvironment. 1.2.Deforestation DeforestationisanotherimportantfactorleadingtotheincreaseofecologicalvulnerabilityintheupstreamareaoftheMinjiangRiver.Treesplayavitalroleinmaintainingecologicalbalancebyregulatingthehydrologicalcycleandconservingsoilandwate
