基于离散元数值模拟的西南天山山前冲断带构造变形控制因素研究 Title:StudyontheControllingFactorsofTectonicDeformationintheForelandThrustBeltoftheSouthwestTianShanBasedonDiscreteElementNumericalSimulation Abstract: TheSouthwestTianShanisaprominenttectoniczoneinCentralAsia,characterizedbythedevelopmentofaforelandthrustbelt.Understandingthecontrollingfactorsoftectonicdeformationinthisregioniscrucialfortheassessmentofseismichazardsandtheevaluationofhydrocarbonresources.Inthisstudy,acombinationoffieldinvestigationsanddiscreteelementnumericalsimulationsisemployedtoinvestigatethemajorfactorsinfluencingthedeformationoftheSouthwestTianShanforelandthrustbelt.Theresultsdemonstratethatlithology,geometry,andmechanicalpropertiesofrocksplayasignificantroleinthetectonicdeformation. 1.Introduction: TheSouthwestTianShanisanactivelydeformingorogenicbeltlocatedinCentralAsia.Itischaracterizedbyacomplextectonicframework,consistingofmultiplethrustfaults,thrustsheets,andfolds.ThedeformationinthisregionisprimarilydrivenbythenorthwardconvergenceoftheIndiaandEurasiaplates,resultinginthedevelopmentoftheforelandthrustbelt.ThisstudyaimstoinvestigatethecontrollingfactorsoftectonicdeformationintheSouthwestTianShanforelandthrustbeltusingacombinationoffieldworkandnumericalsimulations. 2.Methodology: 2.1FieldInvestigations: Fieldinvestigationswereconductedtocollectdataonlithology,structuralcharacteristics,andmechanicalpropertiesoftherocksinthestudyarea.Detailedgeologicalmappingandstructuralanalysiswerecarriedouttounderstandthedistributionandgeometryofthrustfaultsandfolds. 2.2DiscreteElementNumericalSimulation: DiscreteElementMethod(DEM)iswidelyusedtosimulatethebehaviorofdiscontinuousmediasuchasrockmasses.Inthisstudy,the2DDEMwasemployedtomodelthetectonicdeformationintheSouthwestTianShanforelandthrustbelt.Themechanicalpropertiesoftherockswereassignedbasedonthelaboratorytestingdataobtainedduringthefieldwork.Thesimulationswereconductedunderdifferentinitialconditionsandloadingconditionstoinvestigatethecontrollingfactorsoftectonicdeforma
