Introduction: Biotechnologyisarapidlydevelopingfieldthatrequiresacombinationoftheoreticalknowledgeandpracticalskills.Experimentalteachingplaysacrucialroleintheeducationofbiotechnologymajors,asitprovidesstudentswithhands-onexperienceandanopportunitytoapplytheirknowledgeinapracticalsetting.However,traditionalexperimentalteachingmethodsoftenfocusoncontentdeliveryratherthanstudent-centeredlearning.Inresponsetothis,OBEphilosophyoffersanewperspectiveincurriculumdesignandinstructionalstrategies,whichfocusesonstudentlearningoutcomesandplacesstudentsatthecenterofthelearningprocess. TheoreticalFramework: Outcome-basededucationisrootedinthebeliefthateducationshouldbefocusedonachievingspecificoutcomesorgoals.TheOBEframeworkconsistsofthreemaincomponents:clearlearningoutcomes,alignedteachingstrategies,andappropriateassessments.Clearlearningoutcomesdefinewhatstudentsareexpectedtoknoworbeabletodoattheendofthecourse.Alignedteachingstrategiesareinstructionalmethodsthataredesignedtohelpstudentsachievetheseoutcomes.Appropriateassessmentsevaluatestudents'achievementoftheoutcomesandprovidefeedbackforimprovement.
