卸载对粗砂抗剪强度影响的直剪试验研究 Abstract Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatetheeffectofconsolidationontheshearstrengthparametersofcoarsesandbyperformingdirectsheartests.Thesampleswerepreparedatdifferentconsolidationpressuresandtestedunderdrainedconditions.Thetestresultsshowedthattheshearstrengthparametersofthesampleswereaffectedbytheconsolidationpressure.Whentheconsolidationpressureincreased,thepeakshearstrengthandresidualshearstrengthalsoincreased.Thetestresultsofthisstudycanbeusefulinunderstandingandpredictingthebehaviorofcoarsesandinvariousengineeringapplications. Introduction Coarsesandisawidelyusedmaterialinengineeringapplicationssuchasfoundationdesign,embankmentconstruction,androadpavement.Theshearstrengthparametersofcoarsesandareessentialtounderstandthebehaviorofthematerialunderdifferentloadingconditions.Theshearstrengthparameterscanbeinfluencedbyseveralfactors,includingstresshistory,particlesize,particleshape,andconsolidation.Amongthesefactors,consolidationisoneofthecrucialfactorsthatshouldbeconsideredinthedesignofengineeringstructures. Consolidationistheprocessbywhichthesoilparticlesarecompactedduetotheincreaseintheverticalstress.Duringconsolidation,thesoilvolumedecreases,andtheporewaterpressuredecreases.Theconsolidationprocesscanaffecttheshearstrengthparametersofsoilandalterthedeformationbehaviorofthesoil.Therefore,itisessentialtoinvestigatetheeffectofconsolidationontheshearstrengthparametersofsoiltopredictthebehaviorofsoilunderdifferentloadingconditions. Inthisstudy,theeffectofconsolidationontheshearstrengthparametersofcoarsesandwasinvestigatedthroughdirectsheartestsunderdrainedconditions.
