ExperimentalMethod: 1.PreparationofNaOHmodifiedgrapheneoxide: a.GrapheneoxidesynthesisusingthemodifiedHummersmethod. b.NaOHmodificationprocessbydispersingGOinaNaOHsolutionfollowedbysonicationandfiltration. c.ThoroughwashingofNaOHmodifiedGOtoremoveanyresidualimpurities. d.DryingandcharacterizationofNaOHmodifiedGOusingtechniquessuchasSEM,TEM,FTIR,andRamanspectroscopy. 2.Adsorptionperformanceevaluation: a.Batchadsorptionexperimentsusingvariousconcentrationsoftargetpollutants(e.g.,heavymetals,organiccompounds). b.DeterminationoftheadsorptioncapacityandefficiencyofNaOHmodifiedGObyanalyzingtheconcentrationofpollutantsbeforeandafteradsorptionusingappropriateanalyticaltechniques. c.InvestigationoftheadsorptionkineticsandequilibriumisothermsofNaOHmodifiedGOtounderstandtheadsorptionmechanism. d.ComparisonswithpristineGOandothermodifiedGOmaterialstohighlighttheadvantagesofNaOHmodification.
