Severaltypesofinhibitorshavebeeninvestigatedfortheirpotentialtoenhancetheflotationseparationofrhodochrositeandquartz.Organicinhibitors,suchasstarchesandtannins,haveshownpromisingresultsinpreviousstudies.Inorganicinhibitors,suchassodiumsilicateandsodiumcarbonate,havealsobeenusedwithvaryingsuccess. 3.MaterialsandMethods(200words): Inthisstudy,samplesofrhodochrositeandpowderyquartzwerecollectedandpreparedforflotationexperiments.ADenverD12laboratoryflotationcellwasusedforallflotationtests.Theflotationexperimentswereconductedusingamixtureofrhodochrositeandpowderyquartzatapredefinedratio.Variousconcentrationsofdifferentinhibitorswereaddedtotheflotationcell,andthegradeandrecoveryofthetargetmineralweremeasured. 4.ResultsandDiscussion(400words): Theresultsoftheflotationexperimentsindicatedthattheadditionofinhibitorssignificantlyaffectedtheseparationefficiencyofrhodochrositeandpowderyquartz.Theinhibitionefficiencywasfoundtobedependentontheconcentrationandtypeofinhibitorused.
